Halo 5 Quidditch Arrives, But Where is the Golden Snitch?
Fancy meeting Harry Potter on the pitch for some Halo 5 Quidditch? While Potter may not be there, a fan has recreated the game using the Forge tools.
343 Industries provided Forge as a way for fans to create their own levels to do battle in. It appears that with the Halo 5: Quidditch level map creator xXHugaBearXx has gone one step forward from that and created a Harry Potter homage.
Watching the video above any fans of the young wizard will know that this game isn’t exactly following the rules as set by Hogwarts. For one thing, there is no recreation of the Golden Snitch which would be used to end the game. What is in place though is the three ring goal system and the balls with which to score for your team.
While the video starts out at a distance, to see some close-up action of the Halo 5 Quidditch match go to around the 0:55 mark and you’ll get a closer look. The details to download the map itself are:
Map creator: xXHugabearXx
Map name: Quidditch Arena
Game mode: Quidditch (press y to save game mode instead of bookmarking it)
What the Halo 5 Quidditch map shows is how flexible the Forge system is, giving Halo 5 players the ability to use their creativity to create maps with a difference. The fact that this map is easily recognisable as the Quidditch field shows how well the map has been created. It definitely is a job well done.
