Outer Rim has Nien Numb and Greedo, Battlefront Season Pass Worth Buying Now?
It was teased last week, but now we have the confirmation that Outer Rim has Nien Numb and Greedo as new characters. Also we now know the details of what will be included in the full Outer Rim DLC.
EA have revealed the details for Star Wars Battlefront, and have confirmed Nien Numb and Greedo will appear:
“New playable hero characters will have you shooting first with Greedo or targeting foes with precision as Nien Nunb.”
It will be interesting to see if these two are two of the “Heroes and Villains” that fans wanted. Maybe they are keeping some of the more famous ones for future downloadable content.
In terms of new game modes, we’ll have Extraction. This mode will see rebel forces trying to extract a valuable shipment out of one of the most dangerous places in the Outer Rim. The Empire are there to stop them from reaching the extraction point.
In terms of weaponry there will be the new Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol. New Star Cards will include the Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade and Adrenaline Stim.
As well as the fact that Outer Rim has Nien Numb and Greedo the actual locations added to Outer Rim which are Jabba the Hutt’s Palace and the factories of Sullust:
“Blast enemies in the smelting factory or along the industrial pipes and platforms of Sullust or fight through Jabba’s throne room and sail barge garage on Tatooine.”
While there appears to be plenty in the Outer Rim DLC, there will still be questions as to if the Season Pass for Star Wars Battleground is worth the money. We’ll have to play through Outer Rim and future expansions to find out if this is the case.
