Need for Speed Update Brings Manual Transmission, New Hot Rods, & Drag Racing to Consoles

By   /   Mar 1, 2016

Electronic Arts has announced a free Need for Speed update for consoles which is scheduled to arrive this Thursday on Mar. 03, 2016.

The free Need for Speed update is dubbed Hot Rods and will bring the highly anticipated Manual Transmission on consoles which will enable players to practice more control over their rides.

Aside from Manual Transmission, the Hot Rods update will also introduce two brand new Hot Rods – the 1932 Hot Rod with four unique Bodkits and Aaron Beck BecKustoms F132. You can view the new Hot Rods trailer attached after the break:

Probably the best addition that I am personally pumped up for is the return of Drag Events – the perfect way of trying out the new Hot Rods and Manual Transmission! Drag Racing has also received a brand new trailer which can be seen below:

Another new feature is The Warehouse which is essentially an extension to your existing garage and will allow space for up to ten cars in total. Then there are some improvements made to Wrap Editors and three new Trophies:
