Kanye West Names His Upcoming Album After a Game Console

Kanye West, the renowned American Rapper and better half of supermodel Kim-Kardashian West, has announced the name of his upcoming music album. You may be wondering “what does that have to do with video games?” and “why are you reporting this here?”

Well, that is because his next album is named after a 30-years old video game console. Surprised? Don’t be, Kanye loved video games as a child and his favorite console was Turbografx 16.

Released in Japan on October 30, 1987, in the United States on August 29, 1989, and in France on November 22, 1989, the console was one of the first 16-bit machines. It was jointly-developed by Hudson Soft and NEC and was also known as PC Engine in France.

Apparently, Kanye West was feeling some nerd vibes when he chose to name to his album after the console.

Kanye and his Wife Kim have been affiliation with the gaming world over the past few years. Kim released her very own game that is a multi-million dollar hit and Kanye is prepping to release a game about his mother.
