Gears of War 4 Is a Graphical Powerhouse, Will Show Xbox One’s Capabilities
Gears of War 4 is a Xbox One exclusive (for now) and is planned for release sometime this Fall. We were given a detailed look at the game at E3 and we have to say, it looks absolutely amazing.
Those who played previous Gears games would know that each entry represented the best of what Xbox 360 could do visually. All three were graphical powerhouses of their time and same will be the case with Xbox One and Gears of War 4.
Speaking in a recent interview with the Official Xbox Magazine, producer Rod Fergusson said delivering 60Fps is one of their priorities.
He said that Gears 4 will be a graphical showcase for Xbox One.
Delivering [with Ultimate Edition] the first 60fps multiplayer experience in franchise history really taught us a lot about what it means to have a 60fps culture on the team and we’re leveraging that experience for Gears of War 4.
Like how the original Gears of War was a visual showcase for the Xbox 360, Gears of War 4 will be a graphical showcase for the Xbox One.
Seeing 60Fps on current-gen consoles has been a rare sight for gamers. Exclusive games have the best chance of achieving this, so we hope devs will manage to get it out of Xbox One.
Even if Xbox One fails to manage it, PC will surely do so. Rumor has it that Gears of War 4 is coming to the biggest gaming platform in the world.
Many aren’t the supporting the idea and are certain that Xbox One exclusives should remain exclusive to the platform.
It is an interesting situation, let’s see how Microsoft handles PC and Xbox in the future.
