Xbox 360 Region Locking

There is a new rumor going around that Xbox 360 region locking may soon come to an end. According to a Microsoft rep, the company is considering removing region locking from the console.

This is being done to allow certain Xbox 360 games to be backwards compatible with Xbox One. The company rep said that Microsoft and its Xbox division is already discussing it, but there is no timeframe in which this will be done.

Still, he said that players should look forward to this in the near future.

While this is great news for gamers, it is to be noted that this is just from one source and that too isn’t very reliable. That’s why take this with a grain of salt.
