Super Mario Maker Pokemon Costumes Revealed in New Trailer
This year Pokemon celebrates its 20th anniversary, so it comes as no surprise that Nintendo are finding interesting way to celebrate the popular franchise. This looks to include Super Mario Maker Pokemon costumes.
These costumes can be seen in the trailer above and can be claimed by clearing the new Event Course in the game. The Pokemon available to Super Mario Maker are Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Other than Pikachu these three are the most popular Pokemon. I’m sure there will be people who may not agree with me there though.
There are plenty of other Pokemon that could have been included, like Mewtwo for example, but they may be a little overpowered to be believable as a character in the Super Mario Maker world. These unevolved versions of Bulbasaur, Charmander, & Squirtle are probably the most believable Super Mario Maker Pokemon Costumes to be integrated in the game.
Looking at the characters in action in the video, they are as cute as you would expect and feature some interesting little actions. No doubt this will be a popular little novelty for Pokemon fans, and is a nice way to celebrate the anniversary for the popular franchise.
It will be interesting to see what other ways the Pokemon will be celebrating this year. As you’ll have already seen they have appeared in a Super Bowl advertisement that was shown during the game. With 2016 only just starting, we are likely to see Pokemon everywhere.
