Hitman Absolution Confirmed to Arrive on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility

By   /   8 months ago

IO-Interactive has confirmed that HITMAN: Absolution is going to be available on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility.

Speaking with WorthPlaying; Studio Head Hannes Seifert and Senior Director of Public Relations Reilly Brennan confirmed that the game will indeed be coming to Xbox One via Backward Compatibility, but not sure when.

We already know that Microsoft has started rolling out Backward Compatible games as soon as those games pass all tests, so it appears like HITMAN: Absolution is still in testing phases.

Aside from Absolution, Seifert also wants all of studio’s games (which includes HITMAN: Blood Money, HITMAN HD Trilogy and Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days) to come to Xbox One; Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days is already available.

As for the most recent additions to Backward Compatibility list; Trials HD, Alan Wake American Nightmare, LEGO Batman, and Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space are all available now.

The first episode of HITMAN 2016 is expected to release on Mar. 11, 2016 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
