By   /   Feb 11, 2016

After the release on February 16, the Street Fighter V DLC release schedule is going to be surprisingly busy. This includes Alex as the first official character to be added to the game.

Capcom have revealed all the details of what will come to the game after release, including the release schedule for Street Fighter V DLC:

As you can see, in March Alex will be added to the game as will new challenges and trials for the game. April and May will see new characters added, and June will be the time for the Cinematic Story Expansion to be released. After this more characters will be added, with more coming in the future.

For people buying the game this is a good sign, as it shows there plenty of additional content to come.

On top of these details, Survival mode has been revealed:

“In this mode, your health and EX Gauge carry over between each match against the CPU. You are able to earn points with each victory, which can in turn be used to purchase special power ups, such as health or attack or defense increases, etc., to help you last longer. Purchasing more power ups reduces your overall score though, so there is a trade-off. By clearing the four difficulty levels of Survival Mode, you’ll be able to earn new colors and in-game titles for your character!”

The images below give a hint of what Survival Mode looks like:

As you can see in the Street Fighter V schedule above, Challenges and Trials were also mentioned:
