We all make mistakes while dealing with our gaming hardware. We often drop them or spill something on them. But how many of us feel the need to apologize to the company that created said hardware? No one has written a letter to HP for spilling water all over the laptop, or to Sony for dropping Vita.

However, there is an adorable eight year old who actually sent a letter of apology to Nintendo after he spilled water on his 3DS. He promised Nintendo that he will be careful next time and was extremely sorry for what happened.

The kid also called the customer service to let them know what happened and arranged a repair. How exactly did he spilled water on 3DS? Well, 3DS was in his school bag along with a water bottle which wasn’t capped properly.

The eight-year old is from Japan and he wrote the following in his letter:

I apologize for accidentally getting [my 3DS] wet. I’d like to think I’ve already resigned myself to not seeing my 3DS, which is always with me. From here on out, I aim to close my thermos’ lid correctly. I am truly sorry.

The kid is a class act I have to say.
