Bravely Second: End Layer ‘Tomahawk’ Class Replaced with ‘Hawkeye’ Class to Keep Native Americans Happy
Back in November 2015, we reported a rumor regarding some changes related to the Tomahawk class of western version of the 3DS title Bravely Second: End Layer.
However, people in Europe have started getting their hands on the demo of Bravely Second: End Layer and confirming the rumor reported last year. According to a reddit post; the Tomahawk class from the Japanese version of the game has been replaced by the ‘Hawkeye’ class in western release.
The changes include a Southern accent in addition to a cow-boy costume as seen in the images below:
Back when the rumor began circulating in the first place, it was suggested that Square Enix and Nintendo were trying to change the original costume as to avoid offending the Native Americans, although I’m still trying to figure out how so?! Still, better be safe than sorry, don’t you think?
In related Bravely Second news, the game recently received a new trailer detailing various jobs that will make it to the game which include Bishop, Wizard, Exorcist, and more. To find out more, head over to the post!
Bravely Second: End Layer is scheduled to release in Europe on Feb. 26, 2016 and in North America on Apr. 15, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
