By   /   Jan 29, 2016

Now that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan has been revealed we are learning some details about it. This includes how powerful your PC will need to be to run it.

With the game making its way onto Steam, as few details have been revealed via the game’s page. The date for the release on PC is said to be “Summer 2016”, but more interestingly we have the minimum specifications for the game:

MINIMUM:

OS: Windows 10 / Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Windows Vista

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 @ 2.0GHz / AMD Athlon II x2 250 @ 3.0GHz

Memory: 1 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT / AMD Radeon HD 4770

DirectX: Version 9.0c

Network: Broadband Internet connection

Storage: 7 GB available space

Sound Card: DirectX® 9.0c or later

Additional Notes: Controller highly recommended for best experience.

While we don’t yet have the recommended specifications it is nice to see that the game won’t be too resource heavy when it makes its way to the PC. Asking for an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and dual core Athlon, and a Geforce 880GT or AMD Radeon HD 4770, most computers will probably fill these requirements easily. It will be interesting to see what the recommended specifications are, and if there will be some options to really push the latest hardware.

Along with the specifications the Steam page also reveals that the story for the game will be by iDW Comic’s TMNT author, Tom Waltz. This should mean that it is in safe hands and will offer players exactly what they want. The fact it will allow for up to 4 players in online co-op mode will also be good news for fans of the heroes in a half-shell too.
