Dying Light: The Following DLC Map is Twice as Big as the Base Game
Techland is ready to release The Following DLC for Dying Light that brings plenty of new content, and a new area for players to explore.
This new area will take a while to fully explore as it is twice as big as the maps we saw in the base game, according to developer Techland. As the footage mentions, this is not just another GOTY edition. That’s why, The Following not only brings the biggest map, but makes a plethora of enhancements.
The enhancements are as follows:

- New Enemy Attacks & Behaviors
- #DrinkForDLC Content
- New NPC Models
- Enhanced Facial Expressions
- Improved Human Enemy AI
- Improved Volatile AI

- HUD and Video Filter Customizations
- Audio Upgrades
- Gameplay Quality Improvements
- Console Performance Upgrades
- Overall Game Look and Feel Improvements
We are also getting plenty of new content added to the game, which almost makes it a worthy purchase.
The Following – Enhanced Edition gives you access to all DLCs and updates released for the base game until now. The most amazing part will surely be the arrival of drivable dirt buggy. These can be freely upgraded to your liking, feel free to smash through zombies with the buggy at your convenience.
On a related note, it is interesting to note that The Following will use unlocked PS4 and Xbox One CPU cores. Dying Light was so far using 6 cores but The Following is making use of an unlocked 7th core of the consoles as well.
Expect the expansion on February 9th on consoles and PC.
