Guide: The Division Tips and Suggestions for Surviving the Beta

The Division tips and suggestions for surviving the Dark Zone will help you get a slight advantage over your enemy.

The Division beta is about to kick-off and we couldn’t be more excited.

God knows the Dark Zone is a brutal place to be, we think it is better that we share a few tried and tested The Division tips to help you survive the onslaught.

So lets get to it folks:

Tunnels Are a Blessing in Disguise
Like I mentioned above, Dark Zone is a brutal place and you’ll be constantly engaged by enemy combatants. If you are near the tunnels, you can lure the enemies inside and use the plethora of ambush points to your advantage.

Moreover, although tunnels are a horrible way to navigate the map as you may get lost a lot, you can retreat into them in case you’re fighting a losing battle.

Tunnels are a great way to escape the situation, of course, that is if you are near them.

Waiting for Extraction May Get You Killed
Not long ago Ubisoft shared a video from The Division that showed players waiting for an extraction chopper.

The party was attacked before the chopper could arrive but thankfully, all of them were hidden behind covers which saved their butts. That is exactly what you need to do.

While waiting for the extraction chopper, never expose yourself by standing out in the open. Get behind cover or you may end up dead!

Extraction Points Provide Loot
If you are among the attackers, you can use extraction points to get plenty of loot. You need to have a party of 3-4 players and plan your attacks carefully.

Place a sniper on a good vantage point, ask the tank to charge, your flank should attack from a side. The party waiting for extraction will never know what hit-em.

Get As Many Weapons As Possible
Don’t hold back on spending money on weapons, especially purple ones. Keep in mind that stats don’t carry over so there is no point in saving up your in-game currency.

Don’t Be Vague
Have you ever played with a guy who always yells out when your enemies are coming, but never mentions from where? Don’t do that in The Division, it’s a recipe for disaster.

Always know where you are by keeping an eye on the mega map or street signs. Be clear about which direction your enemies are coming before.

That’s it for now, if you have any other tips for us and for our reader, be sure to comment below and we’ll add them as well.
