PlayStation Plus Games for February Revealed

By   /   Jan 27, 2016

Earlier today we reported that some of the PlayStation Plus games for February had been revealed. Now we know not only what is coming to PlayStation 4, but also PlayStation 3, and Vita.

In the trailer that you can see above and confirmed by PlayStation, the games revealed for PlayStation Plus are revealed as:

  • Helldivers (Crossbuy over the three consoles)
  • Nom Nom Galaxy (PlayStation 4)
  • Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PlayStation 3)
  • Lemmings Touch (PlayStation Vita)
  • Nova 111 (Cross Buy over all three consoles)

While these titles are interesting, it is fair to say that PlayStation 3 are getting the better deal with the PlayStation 4 release. If you are a fan of top-down shooters though Helldivers will obviously be of interest. It does lack the punch of a Triple-A release though which this round of PlayStation Plus games is lacking.

To make room for these new games, be aware that the following games will be saying a goodbye to the PlayStation Plus service:

  • Hardware Rivals (PlayStation 4)
  • Grim Fandango Remastered (PlayStation 4)
  • Dragon Age: Origins (PlayStation 3)
  • Medal of Honour: Warfighter (PlayStation 3)
  • Nihilumbra (PlayStation Vita)
  • Legends of War: Patton (PlayStation Vita)

To make sure you still have access to these games, simply download them. This should make sure that you have them in your library. Be sure to download them before February 1, after that they will no longer be available. After this you’ll have the new games to play though, if any of them are to your taste.
