Homefront: The Revolution Gets New Trailer, Devs Plan to Support it for a Year
Homefront: The Revolution has received a brand new trailer that shows the price people have to pay for freedom. One necessary element is unity, without it there is no freedom.
Set in 2029, Homefront: The Revolution is coming out on May 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will focus on elements of war for freedom, survival, murder, and all things violent. However, devs have previously said that this installment won’t be as brutal.
Moreover, it is confirmed that Homefront is going to run at 1080p/30 FPS on PS4 and Xbox One. On the other hand, PC users will be happy to know that they are getting an unlocked frame-rate.
Developer Deep Silver plans to support the game for at least a year with DLC content, but your wallets won’t take a beating.
Game designer Fasahat Salim stated:
Everything that’s available in the game is available for free, and even after release we’re going to continue to be delivering missions, drip-feeding them into the community for at least a year. There’s always going to be new content delivered for free, players are going to have lots of stuff to dig their teeth into.
We’re not doing any sort of packs. We’re not making map packs or anything like that. As we’re done with a mission, we’re going to release it, the community can go ahead and play it, and we’re going to keep doing that for at least a year after release.
