Weekly reveals of Final Fantasy XV are gaining pace, as we close in on the promised reveal of the game’s release date.

During the upcoming weekend, Square Enix will host a livestream event where they’ll talk more about the JRPG title. This much was revealed on Twitter by the official FFXV account, along with the timings of the stream.

Both director Hajime Tabata and global marketing director Akio Ofuji will take part in the stream. They will inform the fans about the warmongering Niflheim empire, and are also expected to showcase new battle footage and scenes of magic.

Too create hype for the livestream, Square Enix released four new screenshots showing off the battle system, as well as a hint at the sneaking aspect that is relatively new to the franchise.

Last week, a scan page also showed how certain magic like fire works in Final Fantasy XV, as well as additional details about how Noctis can tag-team with allies and also mount on certain enemies.

Final Fantasy XV will get a confirmed release date in March. The game is expected to be released sometime later this year for Xbox One and PS4.
