Nintendo NX Is Coming in the Next 12 Months: GameStop

Nintendo NX is coming our way in the next 12 months, according to GameStop survey. Nintendo is still quite though.

Nintendo is working on its next gaming platform right now and we are hoping for its reveal at E3. The japanese gaming giant is yet to share a release window, but it is pretty safe to say that Nintendo NX is hitting the market in the next 12 months.

This presumed release window was further solidified when retailer GameStop sent out an intent to purchase survey. The most interesting part of it was a question regarding Nintendo NX. The survey asked gamers if they intent to buy Nintendo NX in the next 12 months?

This strongly suggests that Nintendo NX is indeed coming our way in late 2016 or early 2017. Again, best guess right now is a reveal at E3 with an announcement of its arrive in Fall.

Keep in mind that this isn’t confirmed by Nintendo, so take things with a grain of salt.

Nintendo NX is slowly taking shape and from what we do know about it, it is going to very different from anything we have seen from Nintendo.

For instance, NX is both a console and a handheld if we believe leaked patents. Not only that, but we are seeing reports of the handheld releasing thsi year, and its console counterpart coming in 2017.

Nintendo has clearly stated that it isn’t going to rush to the market with NX, this means that unlike Wii U, NX is going to be a well thought out platform.
