Hideo Kojima Meets Midge Ure: “Exciting Things to Come” From Kojima Productions

Hideo Kojima has met-up with musician Midge Ure and according to the singer/writer, exciting things are coming from Hideo Kojima.

Hideo Kojima recently left Konami and announced his new studio called Kojima Productions. He is currently in partnership with Sony and is working on a PlayStation 4 exclusive, which is yet to be revealed or dated.

The game is also not fully under development as Kojima is on a technology trip, meeting-up with different studios and developers to discuss the best technology for his next game.

He is not only meeting with tech houses and developers, but he recently paid a visit to Midge Ure, the renowned musician who sang the cover song of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold the World.” His cover was used in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

“Exciting things to come,” is what Ure said about Kojima’s next venture. This will be Kojima first game after leaving Konami and fan-expectations and excitements are through the roof already. Kojima is a veteran, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he feels a little pressure due to such high hopes from him.

We are looking forward to seeing what he comes up with but a major concern fans have is regarding the future of Metal Gear Solid. The franchise, according to Konami, is going to continue without Hideo Kojima. However, will Konami be able to keep that MGS essence intact without him? We’ll have to wait and see.
