Xbox Live Gold Subscription Prices Rise Upto 50% in Some Regions

According to a recent report, Microsoft has drastically increased the Xbox Live Gold subscription fee in some countries.

As reported by SoloXboxOne; one of their editorial board members received an e-mail detailing about a 40 per cent increase in price. However, one important thing to note here is that the increase in price is only for yearly Xbox Live Gold subscription as the prices for monthly and quarterly subscriptions remain unchanged:

This is not all! There are some users in Mexico who are reporting an increase of as much as 50 per cent. Aside from Mexico, other countries that have seen an increase in price include Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia.
