PS3 Firmware Update 4.78 is Now Live; Removes Facebook Support
Sony Computer Entertainment has rolled out a new firmware update for both PS3 and PS Vita which is a mandatory install on both the consoles.
The said update basically removes the Facebook support; allowing users to share their Trophies and online purchases on the social media website.
While Sony has yet to reveal an official changelog, according to GearNuke; while the update only removes Facebook from PS3, it patches some of the latest exploits discovered by the Vita homebrew community. Once again, do note that if you intend to use your consoles online, you will have to go with the said update.
In addition to this, Sony has also rolled out a new firmware update for Playstation 4 which brings system stability among other fixes.
In related Playstation news, Sony Computer Entertainment of Japan and Asia recently posted a trailer detailing the games which are slated to release in early 2016 in Japan. The trailer basically features the hip-hop artist DJ Tofubeats singing the names of the games. It is a pretty neat trailer which should be watched by every Sony fan.
