Microsoft’s HoloLens Boasts 5 Hours Battery-Life and 15′ FOV

By   /   Jan 20, 2016

Courtesy of an event in Tel Aviv, Israel; we now have some more details regarding Microsoft’s augmented reality head mounted device, HoloLens.

As noted by TechFrag; HoloLens is going to be completely wireless which will allow you to carry it wherever you want. However, due to this, the battery of the headset will only last for 5 hours. Needless to say, but the battery life also depends upon your usage.

It has also been revealed that the field of view of the headset will only be 15 inches and it will appear as though you are viewing from a couple of feet of away.

You can watch the entire video of Microsoft’s Bruce Harris speaking behind a closed door meeting and share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!

Previously, Microsoft confirmed that the HoloLens will put more focus on enterprise and less focus on gaming which obviously is a bummer, however, the company has also confirmed that the augmented reality headset will release with Xbox One related functionality.
