Metal Gear Online Finally Launches on PC, Devs Promise Future DLCs
After plenty of demands, followed by an eventful Open Beta, Metal Gear Online has finally launched on the PC platform.
Konami developer Robert posted an official statement on Steam to commemorate the launch of the game.
The developer acknowledged the several hiccups and problems that MGO Beta testers faced, and has promised that it adjustments have been made to ensure the issues are not observed in the launch version of the game.
There’s also a little extra-something for those who didn’t get to participate in the beta last week. If you play the game and participate in minimum one match, you’ll be rewarded with a bonus 3000 Gear Points (GP). This offer is valid from today (January 19) till January 26.
The statement also ensured players of future plans for the game in 2016, include an MGO DLC that is currently being worked on.
Last week, Metal Gear Online PC beta was temporarily shut down due to an exploit that was allowing players to acquire GP for free. Konami fixed the issue, and hopefully will keep it fixed in the launch version of the game.
