In the continuing speculation about story based DLC coming to Grand Theft Auto 5 the only clue we really have is the tease posted by Shawn Fonteno on Instagram. It looks like one of the other voice talents from the game may not be involved.

While people would love to see some DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5 Rockstar Games said they were more focused on Grand Theft Auto Online and adding content there. In a recent comment on Facebook Ned Luke, the voice of Michael revealed:

“EVERYBODY wants single player DLC…I know NOTHING about that. Don’t know when it’s gonna happen or even IF it’s gonna happen. But I do know the boyz are gonna try to get out to some conventions this year so we can finally meet so many of our fans that we have been unable to meet in the past.”

At this point we can only assume that this is the truth, and he really doesn’t know anything about any story driven DLC. This would be bad news, as you would expect Michael to be a part of this in some way at least.

This obviously won’t stop rumours around DLC, or what was being hinted at in the Instagram post but it will add a lot of doubt about what it actually will be. I’m sure Rockstar will reveal the facts when they are ready, and it is obvious that something is in development.

Whether this will be an appearance in Grand Theft Auto Online by Franklin or some actual story DLC is something we’ll have to wait and see. I’m sure whatever is revealed will still be big news for fans of the game.

What do you want, story DLC or Franklin paying a visit to Grand Theft Auto Online? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
