Five Nights at Freddy’s World Release Date Announced, It’s a Happy RPG Instead of a Horror Game!
Remember Five Nights at Freddy’s – the very same game that would give you frights like no other on your smartphones? Well, it’s taking a completely different turn.
The title caught a lot of attention for its unique style of horror, using creepy animatronics that would stalk you and attempt to annihilate you as you watched over a store throughout a night of fear and dread.
With four full releases in the series since its introduction back in mid-2014, creator Scott Cawthon is taking it to a completely new setting in the form of a new game called Five Nights at Freddy’s World.
Instead of having a horror setup, Five Nights at Freddy’s World will offer gamers with an RPG, in which the same creepy animatronics are a part of what appears to be a very happy and colorful world.
The title was first announced last year, and now the official release date has been revealed. The game will be arriving on Steam first on February 19, after which Android and iPhone releases will follow shortly after.
Creator Scott Cawthon also promised to release a demo on GameJolt, though he didn’t mention exactly when.
