EA Access

Xbox One owners are really being treated nicely by EA in January. Not only do they have access to the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Beta, but they will also be getting some free access to EA Access.

Xbox have announced that Xbox Live Gold members will be able to use the EA Access Vault for free next week, starting January 19 and ending January 24. This means that they will get access to all of the games that are available in the Vault. This includes the likes of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefield Hardline and Titan Fall.

Once this free time is over the price to continue using the service will then be $4.99 per month, or $29.99 for a full year. For those wondering if the Unravel trial will be available the answer to that is no, as the game makes a small appearance February 4, with the full game launching February 9.

EA appear to be hyping up their EA Access service at the moment, especially with the release of Origin Access on the PC. It will be interesting to see if the PC will get a free trail of the service too. As it has only just arrived this week though, this is probably doubtful. We’ll keep an eye out for any announcements as they come.

If you’ve not tried EA Access yet this will be a good chance to do so. Even if you don’t have any plans in actually subscribing when the free time ends you’ll still be able to get access to the games for this restricted time. It could be the perfect chance to try out games like Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield Hardline for free.

Will you be taking advantage of this free time? Let us know your thoughts below.
