Fallout 4 Steam Workshop Could Release Soon; Ready All the Mods!
Bethesda games would never have the same reputation they do if it weren’t for the amazing mods support and the brilliant modding community out there. Steam understands just how important mods for games on PC are, and for this reason have their brilliant Steam Workshop feature set up.
Fallout 4 has had the privilege (and also the need) of many modders dedicating their time and efforts to make the title a better experience for all PC users. It seems that Valve recognizes the impact of mods on the game, and seem to be adding the Steam Workshop feature to the game.
A few hours ago, reddit user ZEENIK has reported that Fallout 4 has recently received an update. The image attached to the Steam page for the game has the Steam Workshop logo on it. The update is a placeholder, 0 bytes patch. Though it’s not yet available this seems like a big indication of Steam Workshop becoming available for Fallout 4.
Steam Workshop is basically a ‘hub’ for mods for specific games that are supported by Steam. Although Steam was the main distributor of Fallout 4 on PC, the game was not a part of Steam Workshop.
Fallout 4 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and received high ratings at the time of release during November last year.
