Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Adds One More to 2016’s Game Delays
I am pretty sure most of the Dead or Alive fans are going to be mad about this, especially after we have all been showered with those scintillating and sizzling trailers as well as screenshots of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3.
However, the truth is the game really has been delayed.
The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has brought the announcement from Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja that the “sports” game won’t be going live on the previously announced February 25 release date. On the brighter side, the new release date of the game is not too far; it will come out on March 24.
A little further downside, the game has already been confirmed to stay in Japan. It probably won’t get a western release and that has not sat well with anyone here in the west. Why exactly is that? Well, we know that the live action trailer of Xtreme 3 proved to be even more popular than Zelda’s, and that shows just one part of how popular the game was going to be all over the globe.
Although Shuhei Yoshida has tried to explain the decision regarding the western release, Koei Tecmo is yet explain why they want an extra month. Nonetheless, we are pretty much sure that even if they spoke up they would give us the conventional reasoning i.e. additional time for polishing and finishing the game.
Here’s still hoping for a western release of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, otherwise the Fortune version for PS4 and the Venus version for the PS Vita will both come out in Japan alone on March 29.
