The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition Listing Was a Fake!
Okay so we have all been pretty hyped up about an apparent new take on Geralt’s last and latest adventure in the form of The Witcher 4 Enhanced Edition, but it looks like someone has been playing with our emotions.
CD Projekt Red has confirmed that there is no Enhanced Edition coming out on February 5.
Firstly, the community manager at the official forums of the developer was asked to which he responded that “there’s no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of, this is some kind of error that we will look into.”
This was followed by a tweet from Michal PG, the marketing and PR guy for CD Projekt Red, where he reiterated the same.
@IGN There's no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of, this is some kind of error that we will look into.

What started this rumor was a listing for something called The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition that popped up at the official website of French retailer E.Leclerc. The listing suggested a redone version of the game was going to be released on February 5, 2016. Following this, the same special edition of the game was listed by yet another, lesser known, retailer.
Whether we get The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition or not, the game is leading the GDC Awards nominations alongside MGS 5, and CDPR is still devoting 2016 to The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
