Dark Souls 3

If you are looking to buy the Prestige Edition of Dark Soul’s 3 it looks like you may be out of luck. It looks like the most expensive edition of the game has already sold out.

This was reported by VideoGamer, and was later confirmed in an email sent out which stated that while the Prestige version is sold out, the Collector’s Edition is still available. For those lucky enough to have ordered the Prestige Edition of the game, it includes:

  • Game
  • A numbered 40cm premium Lord of Cinder hand-painted polystone resin figurine
  • Red Knight figurine
  • A4 DARK SOULS Trilogy hardcover artbook
  • Metal case
  • Official Soundtrack (CD)
  • 3x iron-on patches
  • Cloth game-map
  • Exclusive display box

Collector’s Edition includes:

  • Game
  • Red Knight figurine
  • A4 DARK SOULS Trilogy hardcover artbook
  • Metal case
  • Official Soundtrack (CD)
  • 3x iron-on patches
  • Cloth game-map
  • Exclusive box

It comes as no surprise that the game is selling well, especially as this is the return of Hidetaka Miyazaki after Bloodborne. What influence Battleborne will have on the new Dark Souls game will be interesting to see.

Dark Souls 3 is due for release April 12, so with only months to go anticipation is growing around the game. Coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this is also said to be the final Dark Souls game. Even if this is the case, I’m sure there will still be other Dark Souls style games from the company in the future, maybe even Bloodborne 2.
