Ever since we first heard of Oculus Rift, there is one question that’s constantly asked by fans and media; are we going to see VR porn? The answer to that question is yes depending on who you ask.

If you ask about this to someone from the porn industry, they will definitely show interest in making such content for viewers. However, makers of VR devices have a different stance, one that keeps changing depending on the situation.

Naughty America, a pornographic film production company based in San Diego, California, is currently preparing to introduce VR Porn in the United States. According to the company, they are expecting at least 10-20 million users to watch porn once a month by the end of 2016.

Ian Paul, CIO of Naughty America:

We predict that by the end of 2016, 10-20 million people will be viewing adult VR content at least once a month and it will attract infrequent consumers. That’s how transformative the adult VR experience is and it’s going to get even better.

The situation is pretty interesting because at one hand Porn industry is preparing for VR Porn, and on the other, Oculus has clearly said that they are going to ban VR porn on Rift.

Strangely, Oculus doesn’t sound very cautious about violent games, but when it comes to porn on VR, it is ready to ban it from its store despite Luckey Palmer originally saying it would allow it. Palmer is starting to be known for such U-Turns because he is the one who made us believe that Oculus Rift will release for $350, which was deliberate misguidance.

Whatever he’s smoking, we want that stuff too!
