Dying Light (3)

Both Mirror’s Edge and Dying Light are not that different from each other when you look at the player’s movement mechanics. Parkour is used for traversal on the map, players is seen jumping rooftops, walls etc.

Dying Light support PC mods so it was only a matter of time someone actually got the idea of creating Mirror’s Edge and Dying Light.

The idea of Mirror’s Edge in Dying Light came to a very creative Elimina on Steam WorkShop. The modder is currently working on Mirror’s Edge Prologue in Dying Light, and it looks pretty spectacular so far.

According to Elimina, the prologue map is an “exact 1:1 scale version of the map with every corner and detail almost identical using Dying Light’s resources.”

So far, this map is made up of 108 screenshots from mirrors edge to get the scale and spacing of objects exactly a it would be in Mirror’s Edge. I only have the map ‘completed’ up to the end of the Interior section, but I plan to add even more detail that is missing, get the buildings that are outside of the map completed, and add sound effects to make it feel like a real city.

You can download it already but it is still a work in progress, however, expect the following soon from Elimina.
