Halo 5: Guardians Doubles Map and Game Variant Saving Ability
It seems now we are into 2016 it’s time for games to get new updates to start the new year. One has just been revealed for Halo 5: Guardians that will probably be good news to players and map makers.
The announcement of the update was made on the official Halo Twitter account:
We’ve just deployed an update to increase the amount of Halo 5 Map & Game Variants that you can save from 40 each to 100 each. Forge on!
— Halo (@Halo) January 7, 2016
What this should mean is that players of Halo 5: Guardians now have the ability to save more than double maps and game variants now. This will be welcome news to people who have run out of space on their lists.
Looking at the reaction to the Twitter announcement this news appears to have been taken well, though other people want other updates to come just as quick. It is also interesting to see that people are still asking about split screen play, which is something that they are unlikely to see anytime soon.
Halo 5: Guardians is one of the exclusives that has proven a success for Xbox proving to be one of their fastest growing titles. Hopefully updates like this will keep fans happy with the game and they will continue to enjoy playing it.
When it comes to things such as split-screen play of course, hopefully this will come in Halo 6 as it is obvious that the fans of the game want it back.
