The demand for Xbox One Elite Controllers may have surprised Microsoft but it looks like as we move into 2016 they are getting stocks together. This is good news after reports that would have to wait until March.

While we can’t be sure what stock is available right now on the Windows Store, today they once again become available for purchase. This is obviously good news for those Xbox One owners looking to purchase the new controllers. Even with the $149.99 price tag, it appears that there is plenty of people willing to pay the price.

Offering better functionality than the normal Xbox controller the Store states the controller is designed to:

“Give your gaming a helpful boost with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. It adapts to your hand size and play style, so you get better control across all gaming genres. The new, faceted D-pad enables easier and more reliable combo execution, while the traditional D-pad provides precise control to change weapons or call in a strike.”

What the controller also comes with is better quality buttons and thumbsticks that are designed to last. With added functionality built into the Xbox One the user can also map buttons to fit the style of the game. Something that is useful for the more professional player.

There are other controllers that do offer the same functionality out there, so it is good that Microsoft have finally got their act together. Now is the time to get one if you have been waiting to buy the controller, until they run out of stock yet again.
