World of Tanks Second Open Beta Starting This Weekend

By   /   Jan 6, 2016

It’s time for more tank destruction, as a second World of Tanks Open Beta will take place on the PlayStation 4 this weekend, starting from January 8 and lasting till the 10th. Wargaming made the announcement today.

The client for the game can be downloaded here for North America and will be available here for Europe at a later time. Those who play the beta this weekend will be granted an M22 Locus US Light Tank with a special PlayStation camo, and also the T1E6-PS US Premium Light Tank.

Founder’s Pack bundles will also be made available with this second Open Beta on the PSN. This will include premium tanks, premium account time, and in-game currency at discounted prices.

World of Tanks is completely free on the PlayStation 4 and does not even require a PlayStation Plus account. The game has gotten a decent amount of following because of how simple yet engaging it is.

You’ll have to make a bit of an effort to learn how the various tanks work and function, but that’s a worthwhile experience, and the Open Beta is the ideal time to engage in it.
