Nintendo Releases Final Fantasy I & II, Super Mario 64 DS, and Super Mario World for Wii U Virtual Console

Nintendo has released several classic videogame titles for the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan today. These include the likes of Final Fantasy I & II Advance, Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Kart 64, and Super Mario World.

These are not the first classic titles to be released for the Wii U Virtual Console, as Nintendo has been treating users with lots of highly loved classics. The above mentioned releases are a follow up to the Virtual Console releases of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VI: Advance a few weeks ago.

It was interesting to see how Nintendo released Final Fantasy VI shortly after the Steam release. It’s unclear when (or if at all) these classic games will come out in the western market, though given the popularity of these games, it shouldn’t take too long if Nintendo has already planned a release for the west.
