A New Look at Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India Gameplay
If it is true that we won’t be having a new Assassin’s Creed this year, then fans may have to make do with the Assassin’s creed Chronicles. Today we have a new look at Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India that shows off the second game in the trilogy.
Today Ubisoft revealed the new trailer for the latest Assassin’s Creed adventure in India which comes to consoles and PC on January 12. Featuring 2.5D graphics and set in 19th century India, with the first Chronicles game set in China, there is a big change in style.
“Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India drops players into 1841, when conflict was starting to brew between the British East India Company and India’s Sikh Empire. Of course, the Templars have a hand in it all, but Arbaaz’s concerns are more immediate; on a quest to stop the Templars from stealing the Koh-i-Noor Diamond, he’ll also need to steal back a familiar artifact while working to protect his lover, Princess Pyara Kaur.”
As you can see in the video, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India sets levels on the streets, in palaces and even in ancient caves. With a focus on stealth plenty of assassinations are on show, but for the most part this is a game about not getting caught, which may be easier than it sounds.
With the third game being set in Russia after the Red October revolution, this will again see a different artistic style employed. It will be interesting to see which of the three games people enjoy the most and which of the three main characters proves to be the most popular.
