Sony Files ‘Days Gone’ Trademark in the US Under Games Category
Sony Computer Entertainment has recently filed a trademark for something called Days Gone. The Days Gone trademark was registered by Sony Computer Entertainment of America back in December 2015 with the US Patent and Trademark office.
The said trademark is filed under ‘Computer Games Software’ and ‘Online Games Software’ categories. However, one thing to note here is that ‘Online Games Software’ category doesn’t necessarily mean actual online play IF we are indeed looking at new IP from Sony, but can also refer to smaller online features such as Community Leaderboard, eShop, or anything of the sort.
Since Sony Computer Entertainment has yet to announce anything official with the hint of Days Gone in it, we are unable to conclude whether this is new IP from the company or something else entirely.
In related Sony Computer Entertainment news; due to recent Playstation Network outage, the company has announced rewards for the fans, but don’t you think fans need better network services rather compensations every now and then? To find out more, head over to the post!
