The Division Wants to Check Your Money for Bacteria
As long as there are no other delays for The Division, 2016 will be the year that the game is finally released. Today a new piece of viral marketing was released into the world that makes good use of your money.
If you’ve been following the development of The Division you’ll know that it is about the aftermath of a virus outbreak that was spread through money. The outbreak is made worse as it is released on the build up to Black Friday when there is plenty of it changing hands.
On a new website created by Ubisoft you can now scan in GBP notes, or enter a few details about it to have it analysed. As you can see in a new video created by Arekkz, the website provides plenty of worrying details about where the money has been and what dangers the money maybe holding.
While the details revealed about the money may put you off handling real world money, it also has a good use when it comes to The Division. As the game is working on the basis of a virus carried around by money like this, it adds emphasis as to how easily the virus could be spread.
With the hype building up around The Division and the Alpha access, signs for the March release are looking good. With a release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this is also a game that won’t be held back through the dreaded exclusivity issues that other games have suffered from.
Are you looking forward to The Division? Did you try out the bank note scanner? Let us know your thoughts below, and what the site said about the money you are carrying.
