Telltale’s Game of Thrones Episode 6 Taken Down on Xbox One

Telltale Games has become one of the most renowned game developers over the last few years for their unique, interactive story-based titles. Their partnership with HBO’s Game of Thrones was only going to make the reach new heights.

Currently, the first season of the game is underway, and the last episode was released back in November. However, it seems that the final episode has now been temporarily taken down from the Xbox Live Store on Xbox One for some reason.

As reported by a poster on NeoGAF, players can download any of the episodes from 1 to 5, but episode 6 is nowhere to be found. The in-game menu simply states that episode 6 is ‘coming soon,’ despite its release two months ago. The episode is also not available on the Xbox Live Games Store.

It seems that Telltale Games is silently removed episode 6 from Xbox Live Store for technical reasons. The original poster on NeoGAF contacted customer support to inquire about the matter. They told them that the developer “found an issue” and pulled the episode as a result.

This problem seems to be strictly limited to the Xbox One version, as episode 6 of Game of Thrones is available on PS4 and PS3 for download.

Hopefully this problem is minor, and a quick fix is in the works. We’ll keep you updated if any news on the matter comes.
