Super Mario RPG is on Wii U eShop This Week
Good news people, if you love everything Mario, the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is definitely going to keep you busy as the game is up on Nintendo eShop this week.
The game was originally developed for the SNES by Square back in 1996. It was released on March 9, 1996 for the Japanese audience and May 13, 1996 for the North American audience. Now that the time of SNES is gone, you can play it on the Nintendo Wii U!
According to the company, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is going to cost you £5.49 (€7.99) for the American version of the original game.
For those who do not know, this was the original RPG that was developed by Square Enix in collaboration with Nintendo. Want to see what the two big guns achieved? Then gear up Mario and gather up all the allies you can to take on Smithy Gang!
The Mushroom Kingdom faces a new threat when a giant sword falls from the sky and lays chaos upon the land. Mario must gather a crew of unexpected allies to take on the nefarious Smithy Gang! Before Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi, the first Role-Playing Game featuring Mario was this celebrated collaboration between Nintendo and the makers of Final Fantasy, Squaresoft (now Square Enix). Many players hold fond memories of the witty dialogue and colourful characters like Mallow and Geno. If you own this title on your Wii, perform a system transfer from your Wii to your Wii U to receive a special upgrade price. This is the US version of the game.
So far, Nintendo has only announced a release in the European Union but it is expected that Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars will also go up on Nintendo eShop in the US. We are just waiting for their press release on this which is supposed to go out a little later.
