Fallout 4 Player Gets His Room Run Over by a Car
It would be a day worth remembering if you were playing Fallout 4 one day, thinking the Wasteland is amazing, and suddenly a lady who couldn’t control her car ran right into the room where you lay legs sprawled all over your coffee table, turning your room into a wasteland.
Ben Rose is a poor fellow who went through that recently. A big fan of Bethesda’s latest, he way playing Fallout 4 when a car came crashing right into his room; he barely survived the crash. Here’s what he had to say about it:
You play in a wasteland and then your apartment turns into a wasteland. Cars versus people don’t really end up well. So I really thought it was over.
The guy says he was sitting on a chair with wheels and when the car burst in it pushed him forward. This was probably the only reason why he survived although he has a fractured vertebra and a severed Achilles tendon to deal with.
What happened was that a lady lost control of her car outside while she was trying to drive out of a parking lot. She accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brakes and the next thing you know, her Hyundai Sonata was turning everything upside down in Rose’s room (don’t tell anyone but we are secretly trying to investigate if this has something to do with all the studios whose sales went down due to Fallout 4 recently).
Long story short, the woman who was driving the car did not have insurance which means that Rose is left to deal with all the damage himself including the repairs as well as his own medical expenses.
His friends have started a GoFundMe page to raise $10,000 for him, and at the time of writing $5,843 have been raised in six days.
We wish him health not only for being a Fallout 4 fan but also for that amazing beard that he sports.
