Unravel is Now Available to Pre-Order on Digital Xbox Store
Microsoft recently updated its digital Xbox Store which now has Unravel available for pre-order for only $19.99.
The size of the game is only 113.26 MB which is obviously a storage placeholder as the game will automatically begin downloading after the developers are done with finalizing finished game data.
Last month, the game’s pre-order also went live on UK’s Playstation Store — which is still there. Although there is no concrete release date, the UK PS store lists Mar. 31, 2016 as the game’s release date which needless to say is a placeholder for Q1 2016 as found on many online retailers. There is nothing on Origin as of this instant! The official description of Unravel reads:
Unravel introduces Yarny, a new, lovable and endearing character made from a single thread of yarn, that slowly unravels as you move. Inspired by the unique and breath-taking environments of Northern Scandinavia, Unravel is a visually stunning, physics-based puzzle platformer. Using yarn to Swing from tree branch to tree branch or hitch a ride on a flying kite, no feat is too big. Yarny is brought to life as the representation of the ties that bind loved-ones together. Embark with Yarny on a seemingly larger than life adventure to reconnect the long-lost memories of a family. Told completely without words, experience an exciting and heartfelt story about love, hope and the journey of life.
According to developers, the game is pretty tech-heavy with loads of physical-based puzzles that can be solved in multiple ways, and features no enemies whatsoever! To read up more, make sure to check out our exclusive interview here.
Originally announced at E3 2015, Unravel is being developed by Coldwood Interactive and is scheduled to release on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
