Battlefield Hardline: Getaway DLC Announced for January 2016

By   /   Dec 14, 2015

Today EA and DICE have revealed the first batch of DLC for Battlefield Hardline. Getaway will focus on the high speed chases between the cops and robbers across the pacific coast and towards the border of Mexico.

Revealed today Battlefield Hardline: Getaway is due to be released to players in January 2016 and will feature:

  • Four massive maps: Pacific Highway, Double Cross, Train Dodge, and Diversion
  • New game mode: Capture the Bag
  • 4 new vehicles
  • 3 new weapons for the Mechanic Class
  • One new gadget and a new melee weapon
  • 4 new Legendary Camos

As we get closer to the release of the DLC we’ll be sure to hear more details about the maps, the weapons and vehicles. In the images that were revealed at the same time as the announcement though we can see plenty of fast cars, which will help in the high-octane action that we are promised.

Along with the DLC EA also revealed that the game itself will be update for all players. This will include new weapons and patches to improve the performance and fix some of the issues that players may have been experiencing.

As always Premium members of Battlefield Hardline will be the first to get Getaway, and this will be in January. Hopefully we’ll be able to see a trailer for the update before the release and be able to see some more details as to what to expect from the DLC. Though we do have an early look at some of the action here.
