Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was Best Selling Title in November on PlayStation Store
November was a huge month for releases with some of the biggest games of the year being released. It will come as no surprise that these high profile releases were the top sellers of the month.
PlayStation have revealed the PlayStation Store’s bestsellers, with the top-sellers coming as no surprise:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III
- Fallout 4
- Star Wars Battlefront
- Need for Speed
- The Order: 1886
- Wolfenstein: The New Order
- Rocket League
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
- Battlefield 4
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
It is interesting to see that FIFA 16 was pushed into 11th spot and games like the Order: 1886 appears so high, but we have to take into account the fact there were so many deals on in November. The fact that the Black Friday deals will have also been in place will also affect sales too.
What the sales list reveals is the strength of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, as well as Fallout 4, and the inevitable popularity of Star Wars Battlefront. Whether Need for Speed will continue its success though will be debatable.
Some of the other big releases at the end of this year include Just Cause 3 and Rainbow Six: Siege, but as these came out December 1 we’ll see those affect the sales charts next month. There is little doubt though that Call of Duty and FIFA will dominate Christmas, though they may be more popular in physical form instead of digital.
