XCOM 2 Rated in Australia; No Drug Use, Mild Sexual Themes
The awaited XCOM 2 has been rated in Australia and has received a MA 15+ rating from the reviewers. The good news for XCOM 2 fans is that it looks like the title won’t be banned from the region. That is thanks to there being no drug use of high impact violence.
The game was classified on December 7, a couple days ago that means, and the application was filed by Take Two Interactive. According to the Australian Classification Board, XCOM 2 features Strong science fiction violence, online interactivity.
Sadly, we have very Mild Nudity (Damn it!)
Meanwhile, we can expect to see Mild Impact Language, Moderate Impact Themes, and Strong Impact Violence. Players will get to experience it all on PCs early next year, however, there is no console version in sight for the time being.
Below you can see some of the details regarding XCOM 2 gameplay:
- RECRUIT RESISTANCE FIGHTERS: Five soldier classes, each with its own skill tree including new class abilities like Momentum, let you create specific soldiers for your tactical plan.
- TACTICAL GUERRILLA COMBAT: New gameplay systems offer more tactical flexibility in combat. The state of the world affects each combat mission’s environment. Use concealment to ambush enemy patrols. Loot enemies for precious gear and artifacts. Rescue VIPs and save fallen comrades by carrying them to the extraction point.
- A NEW BREED OF ENEMY: A diverse cast of enemies from powerful new alien species to the ADVENT, enforcers of the alien regime, offer a distinct tactical challenge.
Hopefully, we will hear something about the console version soon.
