République Annoncement Trailer Gives PlayStation 4 Game Details

By   /   Nov 24, 2015

République is making its way to the PlayStation 4 in early 2016 and will be seeing some improvements as it comes to the current generation console. today we have a new announcement trailer revealing details about the game.

In République you take control of Hope, a young woman held captive inside Metamorphosis a shadowy totalitarian state ruled by the omnipresent Overseer. By using her stolen cell phone you are able to hack into the surveillance network to stealthily guide her through the treacherous environment so that she can finally find her freedom.

On the release, Tim Pivnicny VP and Sales of Marketing at Atlus had this to say:

“With nearly a quarter-century of experience working with retailers to bring games to the masses, we are eager to lend that expertise to République and Gungho Online Entertainment America. The mystery and excitement in the stealth gameplay of République is so unique, we’re certain that gamers would love to have a physical copy in their collection, and we’re honored to be able to bring it to them.”

The game will retail at $24.99 USD both physical and digitally with Amazon listing it as releasing March 1. It should be noted though that this is a placeholder listing for now, so the date is not confirmed yet.

As we can see from the trailer though the game does look impressive on the PlayStation 4 and is well worth a look at the time of release. Whether there will be much difference between this and the original version of the game will be something we are yet to see.
