Gears of War Collection Tokens Will Roll Out From Dec.1st for Ultimate Edition Owners

Xbox One backwards compatibility feature will soon let you play the amazing Gears of War Collection for free. However, that is only if you buy and play the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition by December 31.

The Xbox One remaster of the original Gears title was released little over a month ago. Players can pick it up online or from their nearest retailer.

If you already own a copy of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, you’ll start receiving download tokens for Gears of War Collection on December 1 and onwards.

These tokens will allow you to download all four of the previous Gears games for Xbox 360 on your Xbox One. That includes, Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of Wars 3 and Gears of War: Judgement.

You can pick up a copy of Gears of War: Ultimate and start playing. You have until December 31 to qualify for the Tokens. You don’t need a Gold account, a Silver will do just fine.
