World of Warcraft Celebrating its 11 Years Magic and Mystery
November 23, 2016 was when our world came in contact with World of Warcraft and PC gaming got its biggest MMORPG. The game has been around for over a decade and this month Blizzard will celebrate WOW’s 11th anniversary.
To celebrate this occasion, players will get some rewards for logging into the game from today till 30th November. For instance, you will get a Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.
Moreover, there is a Edwin VanCleef costume waiting for you in addition to some wands. Log-in to the game right now to get your rewards.
For over a decade WOW ruled the MMORPG genre, it still does but its dominance is not what it once was. Declining subscription numbers have put a dent and Blizzard has even decided not to share such numbers publicly anymore.
World of Warcraft is bleeding subscriptions and is at 5.5 million as of September 30. It lost 100,000 subscriptions since last quarter. During the last quarter, subscriptions were at 5.6 million and at the time they were the lowest since 2006.
Next year, Legion will release and Blizzard is hoping it will once again boost subscriptions.
