Minecraft Wii U Classification Removed by PEGI
Last week we reported on the fact that Minecraft for Wii U had been listed on the PEGI site. While a game appears on the site this usually hints that the game is heading towards a release, so the sudden disappearance of the listing may cause some disappointment for Wii U Minecraft fans.
While the game is out for many other gaming platforms it has yet to make its way onto the Wii U or any other Nintendo device. With the game appearing on the PEGI site this will have raised anticipation that the game is finally coming, quite rightly, as it would fit well on the console. With the fact that the listing has been removed, does this mean it was just a mistake?
This could be the case, or it could mean that the game is still in development and Nintendo are not ready for the PEGI rating just yet. I’m sure fans of the game are hoping for this to be the case. With the unique way of controlling the Wii U, the controller would be an interesting way to interact with the world and its map. If we’ll see this put into use by a version of the game, we’ll just have to wait and see.
For now, until we know more about the games status, there are many other ways to play the game. The current platforms it is available for are PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Tablet Devices and also Windows 10.
